Articles: some cultural notes for fanfic writers

This page is created to post up whatever comes up to my deranged mind that is related to weiß kreuz. Some of them may be somewhat offensive to some people. So please have an open mind when you decide to risk hurting your braincells by reading this crap. Newer thoughts are on the top.

• What is Ken's eye color? Is it blue? Blueish green? Dark green? green? Ice blue? Light green? Or teal? He looks good in all colors, but I prefer the manga version ^^ Brown is good. I just wish the animators'd be more consistent with their acrylic paints..
• Kenken... You're scaring me... I think I read this somewhere, that Ken actually enjoys killing, as shown in that last scene of the ova. I don't know if he enjoys the fact that he's erasing another scum from the face of earth, or if he actually enjoys the process of killing itself. I sure hope it's the former.
• Some fanfic writers make Ken painfully out of character in some fics. Especially waff-y fics. I don't believe Ken'd cry if Aya leaves him *_*; Ken cries a LOT in fanfics... @_@; But believe it or not, I actually like those kind of fics ^^; Especially if they're well-written. I guess it's one of the fan-girl trait, to like things that otherwise'd never happen in the original story.
• Ken doesn't have his own room in the anime^^; Well, actually there's no scene in the anime that requires to show his room. That's why the animators didn't bother to design his room at all. Poor Kenken.. and I wanted to see what his room looks like...
• I heard Ken's reason for joining weiß was vengeance. At least it says so in the manga. I think that's kinda shallow... Who is he revenging for? Obviously not Kase or Yuriko... (ある者は己復讐の為に…. –an assassin and white shaman)
• Weiß kreuz verbrechen and strafe (the OVAs) sucked! The animation is beautiful, so much better than the TV animation. But the story's down right sucked. Well, actually it was fine until I saw the ending. All the angst, action, and plot just flushed down the toilet at the end. It'd be soooo much better if the guys actually killed each other >:D I'd hate to see them die, but it'd make the plot so much stronger.
• Omi's new costume in the ova is kinda scary...
• This scene is so cute XD Even my friend who's not a youken fan said it's plausible after she saw this episode^^ She said Youji kept throwing a weird look to Ken and Ken'd start blushing. A quote from her blog: All throughout that episode Spoon and I kept saying (and screaming) "WHY is he looking at him like THAT?" "EEE!!! Did he just BLUSH?!!" "Yohji's flirting with Ken!!" "Omi looks disappointed" "Now Ken's flirting with Sakura!" "Omi looks disappointed"... eheheheh. I thought that was funny XDD
• Crawford's American? Omi looks more American to me.
• Where is Ken's burn scars? @_@
• Did Hirofumi know about Ouka? In the human hunting episode (ep 10), they met but didn't seem to recognize each other. I take it Reiji kept it a secret, but at the party he openly admitted Ouka as his daughter...
• In episode 10, where Omi goes to a club by himself, nobody ask for his age or ID. There's not even a bouncer. What kind of club lets an underaged kid enter without ID check?
• In episode 6, when the boys are dressed up as stewardesses, Omi said something like 'the plane is ready' to the bad guy with a voice that I could've sworn sounded like a girl @_@; Also, haven't they heard of stewards? Or maybe they only have stewardess in Japan...
• Yuuki Hiro-san is really good at screaming, isn't he?
• In the two Sakura episodes (ep 6 and 19, I think), the animation was especially bad. Maybe even the animators hated Sakura ^_- Especially ep 6, almost every Aya was badly drawn. I'm pretty sure he's supposed to frown here. And the scene where Sakura was running was a freaking 2 frame animation! How much worse could that be?
• In episode 8, Youji told Omi not to get all touchy with Ouka (at least that's what the subtitle said). Shounen-ai hint? ^_-
• What kind of name is Magic bus hospital?? @_@; Reminds me of the magic schoolbus cartoon...
